Gorillas appear in class！

PreK 3B’s unit of inquiry topic today is: How does the world work? This is the introduction phase of the IB curriculum, which teaches children to perceive with their five senses. Use eyes and hands to perceive different materials, and use different words to express perception.

After finding their teachers who were hiding in the outdoors, they also spotted a special guest- A gorilla! Do you think the children were scared? No, they were super excited!

Teachers and students also looked for different materials to talk about. How does each object feel, soft, hard, smooth or rough?  Recognize things around through five senses and able to use accurate words to express is one of the learning objectives in the kindergarten class unit of inquiry: How the world works, which is one of the six IB interdisciplinary themes.
