EAL Program
At Sias IS, we welcome students with all levels of English proficiencies. English as an Additional Language (EAL) program is available for both Primary and Secondary students. Students who are enrolled in the EAL program are provided individualized support by our EAL specialist teachers to develop their English language skills.
We believe and practice an asset-based approach wherein we harness EAL students’ strengths to create individualized, language development goals for each of our EAL students. EAL students are not only provided with support during the school sessions but are also given an extended service through our after school EAL-ASA.
Sias IS EAL program offers a great way to improve and strengthen EAL students' English skills so that they can confidently and competently access their grade-level curriculum.
