Visual Arts
The Visual Arts is a significant discipline in its own right. It naturally takes from the child’s innate imagination, observations, real-life experiences and feelings.
The Early Years and the Primary Years Visual Arts Program follows and supports every child throughout the different stages of their development. This is achieved through basic exposure to broad areas of study such as: Two-dimensional forms , Threedimensional forms, Lens-based, electronic and screenbased forms, etc.
MYP Visual Arts program provides our students an opportunity to explore ideas, tools, and materials developing the skills necessary for communication and self-expression. They explore the joy of creating through research and problem-solving.
In the Visual Arts program, we value: the process of self-investigation, students as independent learners, creative thinking process, communication of ideas, developing fluency in the language of the Visual Arts and active engagement in researching artworks of different art movements and cultures.
