PYP Conceptual Learning

The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) for K-2 centers on conceptual learning and fostering young students’ innate curiosity through inquiry-based methods.

It focuses on cultivating comprehension by delving into specified concepts and fundamental inquiries, enabling students to establish connections across various subjects and the world at large.

By exploring transdisciplinary themes, learners participate in hands-on, purposeful activities that stimulate critical thinking and creativity.

The standard-based curriculum with the IB PYP framework nurtures essential skills like effective communication, social interaction, self-management, research, and critical thinking.

This foundational approach equips students to evolve as lifelong learners capable of adapting to diverse and intricate situations, encouraging them to perceive learning as an interconnected and continuous process. This holistic framework emphasizes the development of knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and action, promoting inquiry, reflection, and communication.
