Student Support

At Sias IS, we place a high priority on social and emotional well-being because it plays a crucial role in the overall development of our students in a multicultural setting. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and may face unique challenges. By focusing on their social and emotional welfare, we create a supportive and inclusive environment that helps them grow into well-balanced individuals with strong minds, bodies, and spirits. This prepares them for academic success and innovative leadership in an ever advancing, interconnected, and technological world.

Our Dean of Students, College and Careers Counselor, and School Counselor are dedicated to supporting this mission. They work together to foster a positive school climate and provide resources and guidance to help students navigate their social, emotional, and academic challenges.

By promoting emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness, we equip our students with essential skills to navigate cultural differences, manage stress, and develop a strong sense of identity. This ensures they thrive academically, personally, and socially.
Focusing on social and emotional welfare also creates a positive school climate, enhances student engagement, and fosters a lifelong commitment to mental health and well-being.
